- This photo, used for the 1940 issue of the high school's "Alma Mater," is a full view of the front of what used to be Centralia High School standing on the corner of Iron and Pear. This photo was taken just three years after a new gymnasium was added. While the school itself was demolished in 1971, the gymnasium still stands today.
