This photograph appears to have been taken in 1923 when the Lee-Bradford Corp. released a travel documentary entitled, "Adventures in the Far North," with Capt. F.E. and Mrs. Kleinschmidt. The Kleinschmidt's traveled through the inner passage to Alaska, which extended over a distance of 5,000 miles from Seattle and return. The film was directed by Max Fleischmann.
