- Ole Hanson
- Publication Date:
- 1920
Notes
- General Note:
- A native of Centralia was Ole Hanson (Hansen) who is believed to have been shooting from Seminary Hill. He was never apprehended and didn't stand trial for his part in the massacre. Rumors abounded regarding Ole Hanson; that he had been secretly lynched and buried the night of the massacre--a scenario that was never presented by the defense at the trial; another that he had been found dead in Aberdeen of an apparent suicide; and, that he had been seen working on a ship in Hong Kong in 1921.
