In October 1993, Centralia College dedicates the Cornelia Van Prooyen Child Development Center. The construction of the toddler playground was aided by a grant from Ronald McDonald Children's Charities in the amount $5,180; Cornelia Van Prooyen (1925-1987) was the first female doctor in Lewis County and a charter member of the Foundation and president in 1985-86; Group photo (back row) Dr. Henry P.
