- A survey run by The Daily Chronicle show that respondents were in favor of splitting Community College District 12. Eighty-two responses were returned to the two-question survey ballot which asked respondents if Centralia College and South Puget Sound Community College should be in separate districts and if they would support a split if South Thurston County were included in Centralia College's district
