Notes

General Note:
Ballots will be distributed to Centralia College faculty members asking how they feel about Sen. Mike Kreidler's proposal to split Community College District 12. Voting will be preceded by a presentation by district business manager Jack Kalmbach, who will discuss the financial consequences of splitting District 12 and South Puget Sound faculty representatives will give their reasons for supporting the split. Centralia College faculty have asked the Washington Education Association to lobby for an amendment to Kreidler's bill that would allow the college to continue to recruit students from Thurston County. Also included in the article is a proposal by John Pratt to recreate a Centralia College student newspaper
