- Among the Legionnaires wounded was Eugene Pfitzer. Shot in the arm by someone from the hall (Roderick Hotel), he found a car that took him to the hospital. He survived his wounds. Also wounded were American Legionnaires Bernard Eubanks, John Earl Watt, and Alva Coleman.
