General Note:
The only article from early newspaper accounts of Wesley Everest entitled, "Wesley Everest Was Oregonian." This paste up is from the December 4, 1919 issue of the Centralia Daily Chronicle citing an article from the Newburg Graphic in Newburg, Oregon where Wesley Everest was born. Originally thought to be Britt Smith, Wesley Everest was finally identified as the I.W.W. member who was lynched and hung from the Mellen Street bridge.
